TEEMYEAH TW-980LV high-capacity automatic vegetable centrifugal dewatering line with 900 mm basket

TW-980LV High-Capacity Automatic Vegetable Centrifugal Dewatering Line

Large-basket automatic dewatering for approximately 1.0–1.5 t/h leafy vegetables and 3.0 t/h root vegetables

The TW-980LV is a high-capacity automatic centrifugal dewatering line with a 900 mm inner basket and approximately 250 L basket volume. It is designed for higher-volume production and larger batch handling than the compact TW-980LB.

Reference capacity is approximately 1.0–1.5 t/h for leafy vegetables and 3.0 t/h for root vegetables. The integrated line receives product continuously, while the centrifugal dewatering section operates in controlled automatic batches before automatic discharge.

  • Approximately 1.0–1.5 t/h for leafy vegetables and 3.0 t/h for root vegetables
  • 900 mm inner basket diameter and approximately 250 L basket volume
  • Standard speed range: 60–700 rpm; adjustable up to 840 rpm
  • Five standard product recipes, expandable to 20; each stores dewatering time and speed
  • Electrical control system primarily using Mitsubishi components and a Siemens motor
  • Proprietary customized vibration isolation with a non-airbag design requiring no inflation
  • Air-knife-assisted product release and quick-release conveyor sections for cleaning

Details

The TW-980LV is designed for higher-volume leafy- and root-vegetable processing. Feeding and discharge conveyors maintain line transfer, while the 900 mm centrifugal basket runs each load as a controlled automatic batch.

Large-basket automatic operation

  1. Receive washed product continuously from the upstream line.
  2. Load the approximately 250 L basket for the selected automatic recipe.
  3. Run the stored dewatering time and speed.
  4. Use air-knife assistance only to release material adhering to the basket or drum; it is not hot-air drying or a separate air-knife drying stage.
  5. Discharge automatically to downstream inspection, weighing or packing.

The machine uses primarily Mitsubishi electrical controls, a Siemens motor and proprietary customized vibration isolators. The vibration system does not use airbags and requires no inflation.

Best fit Compact leafy-salad and root-vegetable lines Higher-volume leafy and root-vegetable lines

Both models receive product continuously as part of an integrated line, while the centrifugal dewatering section operates in controlled automatic batches. Final model selection should consider the actual vegetable, cut size, incoming surface water, required finished condition, line capacity and available floor space. Compare the TW-980LB compact dewatering line with the TW-980LV high-capacity dewatering line.

Applications

The TW-980LV fits higher-volume vegetable-processing plants that need a larger basket and larger controlled batches.

  • Approximately 1.0–1.5 t/h leafy vegetables, including lettuce, cabbage and mixed salad
  • Approximately 3.0 t/h root vegetables, subject to product and process conditions
  • Fresh-cut factories, central kitchens and integrated cutting-washing-dewatering lines
  • Projects with sufficient floor space for the 10430 × 2300 × 2845 mm footprint

Actual output depends on product state, cut size, bulk density, batch loading, recipe and upstream feeding. Confirm the final program with representative material.

Configure a TW-980LV Dewatering Line

Share the vegetable, cut size, leafy or root capacity target, incoming surface water, required finished condition, available footprint, electrical supply and compressed-air equipment. TEEMYEAH can confirm whether the TW-980LV or compact TW-980LB is the better fit.

Continuous Line Reception, Controlled Automatic Batches

Upstream and downstream conveyors maintain line transfer, while the centrifugal section handles each load as a controlled automatic batch. A reference cycle is approximately 50 seconds and can be configured for the product.

Large Basket and Programmable Recipes

The 900 mm basket holds approximately 250 L. Five standard recipes, expandable to 20, store dewatering time and speed. The standard range is 60–700 rpm, with adjustment up to 840 rpm.

Vibration Isolation and Product Release

Proprietary customized vibration isolators use a non-airbag design and require no inflation. Air-knife assistance releases material adhering to the basket or drum; it does not perform hot-air drying.

Choosing Between TW-980LV and TW-980LB

Choose the TW-980LV for the 900 mm basket and higher-volume leafy or root-vegetable handling. Choose the compact TW-980LB when floor space, leafy-line capacity and lower installed power are the priorities.
