TEEMYEAH FG-5000 vegetable air-drying line with UV treatment

FG-5000 Vegetable Air Drying Line

Continuous adjustable-airflow surface drying for washed whole vegetables, with an enclosed UV-treatment section

The TEEMYEAH FG-5000 is a continuous post-wash vegetable air-drying line for whole vegetables. Adjustable centrifugal-blower airflow reduces surface water while the conveyor transfers product through the enclosed line.

The configuration includes an enclosed UV-treatment section, 500-800 kg/h capacity, SUS304 stainless-steel construction, and a customized line length and interface based on the project.

  • Continuous surface-water reduction and transfer after vegetable washing
  • Rated capacity: 500-800 kg/h
  • Adjustable centrifugal-blower airflow for different whole-vegetable conditions
  • Enclosed UV-treatment section for project-specific process integration
  • Sealed chain-plate transitions help reduce product leakage and trapping
  • SUS304 stainless-steel construction

Details

The FG-5000 connects after vegetable washing to create a continuous washing, air-drying, and transfer process for whole vegetables. Centrifugal blowers move air across the product surface, and the airflow can be adjusted for different product characteristics.

Sealed chain-plate side transitions help reduce leakage and product trapping, while the low discharge arrangement supports transfer to the next process. The enclosed UV section can be integrated into the project hygiene plan. Lamp specification, exposure conditions, and performance targets are defined during project engineering and validation.

The line can follow a washer such as the TW-705 continuous vegetable washing line or the TW-475 staged washing line. Conveyor direction, working heights, line length, and utility connections are configured for the actual project.

Applications

The FG-5000 is intended for surface-water reduction from washed whole vegetables before transfer to the next process. Typical users include fresh-produce distribution operations, supermarkets, agricultural produce businesses, central preparation facilities, and vegetable-processing plants.

Equipment selection is based on whole-vegetable size, surface condition, loading depth, upstream washer, and required downstream result. Projects involving cut vegetables, thermal dehydration, or a defined hygiene-performance target require a separate application review and validation plan.

Configure an FG-5000 Air-Drying Line

Share the whole vegetable, target throughput, upstream washer, incoming surface-water condition, required downstream process, UV validation requirements, working heights, available footprint, and power supply. TEEMYEAH will review the FG-5000 line configuration.

Adjustable Airflow Surface Drying

Centrifugal-blower airflow can be adjusted for different whole-vegetable conditions. The process reduces surface water after washing without presenting the equipment as a thermal dehydrator.

Continuous Post-Wash Integration

The FG-5000 combines drying and transfer after washing. Confirm the handoff from the upstream washer and use the line capacity-matching guide to check the complete process rather than selecting by one nameplate figure.

UV Treatment Integration

The enclosed UV section can support a defined plant hygiene program. Its contribution depends on lamp specification, distance, exposure time, product shadowing, equipment cleanliness, and the validation plan for the actual process.

Product Handling and Transfer

Sealed chain-plate side transitions help reduce product leakage and trapping, while the low discharge arrangement supports transfer to the next process. Product trials establish suitable handling for fragile or unusually shaped vegetables.

Which Moisture-Removal Method Fits the Process?

Use the FG-5000 when continuous airflow drying is required after washing. Compare a TYN-1200 vibratory dewatering conveyor for continuous free-water draining or the TY-980C centrifugal spin dryer for stronger batch surface-water removal. Some lines use more than one method in sequence.

FAQ

What products can the FG-5000 air-drying line handle?
The FG-5000 is designed for washed whole vegetables. Product size, surface condition, loading depth, and the required downstream result are reviewed during equipment selection.
What is the rated capacity?
The rated capacity is 500-800 kg/h. Final output is coordinated with the product condition and the requirements of the preceding line stage.
Does the FG-5000 use hot air?
The standard configuration uses adjustable centrifugal-blower airflow. A heating system or process temperature is not included in the standard specification, so the process is air drying rather than thermal dehydration.
Does the UV section sterilize vegetables?
The enclosed UV section is one part of the project hygiene plan. Lamp specification, distance, exposure time, product shadowing, and the required hygiene target must be defined and validated for the actual process.
Is the airflow adjustable?
Yes. Centrifugal-blower airflow can be adjusted for different product characteristics. Operating settings are established during commissioning and product trials.
Can the line dimensions be customized?
Yes. The typical dimensions are 6000 x 800 x 2000 mm, and the line length, interface, and working heights can be configured for the project.
Can it connect directly after a vegetable washer?
Yes. It is designed as a post-wash line component. Connection to a washer such as the TW-705 requires confirmation of direction, height, throughput, drainage, and controls.
How does air drying differ from vibratory or centrifugal dewatering?
Air drying uses adjustable airflow during continuous transfer. A vibratory dewatering conveyor drains free water during vibration, while the TY-980C spin dryer uses centrifugal action in a batch basket. Selection depends on product and target surface-water condition.
