There is a ceiling to how much product you can push through a single food processing facility. At some point, the floor space runs out, the machines cannot go faster, and the material handling between stages becomes the binding constraint. Most facilities hit this ceiling at 40,000 to 60,000 portions per day.
This facility produces 200,000.
How You Get 3 to 4 Times Normal Density
The answer is not bigger machines. It is better layout engineering. When TEEMYEAH designed this facility, every square meter was optimized for throughput density. Multiple processing lines run in parallel, each synchronized to matched flow rates. Automated conveyor connections between stages eliminate all manual transfer, which means no crate staging areas, no transfer walkways, no buffer zones. The floor space that would normally be consumed by manual logistics (typically 30 to 40 percent of total production area) is instead used for additional processing capacity.
The equipment configuration uses TEEMYEAH’s vegetable washing and cutting equipment: TW-806 high-throughput cutters, banks of TW-506L washers running in parallel, EOS8132-SD ozone sterilization modules, and TW-980LB dehydration lines. All running at 85 to 95 percent of rated capacity, connected by speed-matched conveyors that eliminate bottlenecks.
The Compounding Math of Scale
At 200,000 portions per day, small efficiency improvements generate enormous absolute value. A 5 percent yield improvement across 25 to 30 tons of daily input recovers 1.25 to 1.5 tons of usable product per day. Over 300 operating days, that is 375 to 450 tons of recovered product annually, worth 150,000 to 180,000 USD at a conservative 0.40 USD per kilogram.
Labor reduction follows the same scale math. A manual facility of this output would require 150 to 200 workers. The automated facility runs with 25 to 35 operators, eliminating 120 to 165 positions. At regional average wages, the labor savings alone drive full equipment ROI within 10 to 12 months.
Throughput Per Square Meter: The Metric That Matters
For operators in markets where industrial floor space is expensive, such as urban areas across the Gulf states and major Southeast Asian cities, the critical metric is not total output but output per square meter. This facility achieves 3 to 4 times the throughput density of a conventional manual or semi-automated plant. That means the same production volume from a significantly smaller (and cheaper) facility footprint, or dramatically more production from an existing space.
