TEEMYEAH TY-5015 Industrial Conveyor Metal Detector
In-line metal detection for ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless-steel contamination checks in food processing lines
The TEEMYEAH TY-5015 is an industrial conveyor metal detector designed for in-line inspection of food products. It checks for ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless-steel metal contamination as product passes through the 500 ร 470 ร 150 mm detection opening.
The line-ready configuration combines automatic product learning, an alarm-and-stop response, motor overload protection and conveyor details intended for integration and routine cleaning. Detection performance depends on the product, package, temperature, moisture, metal type, contaminant size and operating conditions; confirm the required sensitivity with representative samples.
- Detects ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless-steel metal contamination
- 500 ร 470 ร 150 mm product detection opening
- DSP-based control with automatic product-learning setup
- Alarm-and-stop response when metal is detected
- Motor overload protection
- Line-ready conveyor with a lower nylon scraper and perforated lower plate
- IP67-level protection stated for the electrical controls, detection head and protected switches
Details
The TY-5015 creates a defined metal-detection checkpoint within a food-processing or packing line. Product travels on the conveyor through the detection opening. If the configured detection threshold is triggered, the machine provides an alarm and stops the conveyor so the affected product can be isolated according to the plant procedure.
Automatic product learning helps establish settings for a given product. The final detection program must be validated with the actual product and agreed test pieces because product effect can change with moisture, salt content, temperature, packaging, product orientation and conveyor loading.
Plan the unit as part of the wider food-safety equipment and custom food-processing line. Confirm belt height, feed direction, transfer gaps, inspection access and the required response to a detection event before the line layout is approved.

Detection sensitivity is application-specific. Confirm the metal type, test-piece size, product, packaging and operating conditions through a sample test and technical agreement.
Applications
The TY-5015 can be considered for metal-contamination inspection after processing or before packing and dispatch.
- Fresh-cut vegetable and fruit processing lines
- Central kitchens and prepared-food facilities
- Meat, poultry and seafood preparation lines
- Foodservice distribution and commissary operations
- In-line inspection before packing or finished-product release
Confirm that the product and package fit the detection opening and that the required sensitivity can be achieved under real production conditions.
Configure a TY-5015 Metal Detection Checkpoint
Share your product, package type, product dimensions and weight, belt height and speed, line direction, destination power supply, target metal types and required test-piece sizes. TEEMYEAH will review the conveyor interface and arrange a representative-product test where required.
How In-Line Metal Detection Works
Products pass through the detection opening on the conveyor. The configured product program distinguishes the normal product response from a metal signal. When a detection threshold is reached, the TY-5015 alarms and stops the conveyor for controlled isolation and follow-up.
Validate Sensitivity with the Actual Product
Metal-detector sensitivity cannot be set from the detector opening alone. Product moisture, salt, temperature, packaging, orientation and speed can influence product effect. Test representative products with agreed ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless-steel test pieces before approving the production program.
Plan the Detection Response
Define responsibilities for stopping the line, isolating the affected product, checking the detector, investigating the source and recording the event. The detector provides an alarm-and-stop response; the plant procedure controls what happens next.
Integrating the TY-5015 into a Production Line
Confirm conveyor height, belt direction, transfer gaps, product spacing, belt speed, operator access and upstream and downstream stop logic. Use the food-processing line requirements checklist to prepare the information needed for layout review.
Acceptance Testing and Routine Verification
Agree the test-piece materials and sizes, product programs and challenge-test procedure before shipment. Review the food-processing equipment factory acceptance test guide when planning pre-shipment checks. After installation, follow the plant verification schedule and record the result of each check.
