Automatic Sodium Hypochlorite Dosing
TW-8142 doses food-grade sodium hypochlorite into a vegetable washer and uses a control algorithm to regulate around the configured free-chlorine setpoint.
Free-Chlorine, pH, and Temperature Monitoring
The system measures free chlorine from 0-200 ppm, monitors pH from 0-14, and monitors water temperature from 0-60 ยฐC. The free-chlorine control range is settable from 0-200 ppm.
Flow Interlock and Alarms
Flow interlock helps prevent dosing without confirmed process flow. Audible/visual alarms and on-screen prompts support the operator when process conditions require attention.
Industrial Controls and Maintainability
German ProMinent instrumentation and a metering pump are integrated with a Siemens PLC and touchscreen. The accessible 304 stainless-steel frame supports inspection and routine maintenance, and digital-function upgrades are available.
Integration with TW-705
TW-8142 is an independent optional companion, not a standard built-in function of the TW-705. TW-705 performs washing, tumbling, showering, sand settling, filtration, and conveying; TW-8142 provides free-chlorine control, pH/temperature monitoring, and automatic dosing.
